There is always something going on in the Wildwoods. There are events for everyone in the family such as the Boardwalk Classic Show, Monster Trucks, Motor cross racing and the Powerboat racing. The International Kite festival, Fabulous 50's Weekend, the Craft Shows and who can forget the Irish Festival. During the vacation season there is a fireworks display on the beach every Friday night.  7/4   7/4    Fourth of July Beach 'n Boardwalk Patriotic Run/Walk 
9 a.m. - 11 a.m. The 5K Fun Run will begin at the Wildwoods Sign and travel North to the Wildwoods Convention Center and then down the boardwalk extension to the beach. The route will run South and continue on the hard packed sand to Primrose Avenue in Wildwood Crest, looping back to the Wildwoods Convention Center for the completion of the race. The 1 Mile Walk will go down the Wildwoods Boardwalk to Cresse Avenue and back to the Wildwoods Convention Center. Awards for Top Finishers and Most Patriotic Dressed in Family, Adult, Child and Baby. All funds raised from this event will be used to help maintain the Wildwoods Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. Registration will take place from 7 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. at the Wildwoods Convention Center. $25 for adults; $10 for students 18 and younger. The bags will fly on the Wildwoods beach (between Wildwood & Oak Avenues) during this double elimination tournament. Teams of two will compete in the popular tailgating bean bag toss game. We will hold 2 tournaments on Saturday (11 a.m. & 2 p.m.) for a chance to win a custom corn hole set at each tournament. Saturday's event is $20 per team per tournament. All ages are eligible to register. Sunday hosts the main event for over $1,000 in cash prizes. This is one of the only Beach Lacrosse Tournaments in the world. This tournament gives lacrosse players of all ages a chance to enjoy the game in a new and exciting way. Teams from all over the East Coast and beyond compete on the beaches at Schellenger Avenue, Wildwood. TOURNAMENT: Games are 5 vs. 5, 4 field players plus a goalie, with a maximum of 10 players per team. Each game will have two 18 minute halves with a 4 minute break. Fields are 30 yards by 40 yards. Each team will play 3 games with a 4th possible Final game (weather and other unforeseen conditions permitting). Divisions will run from U9 - U18, Men's Open and Women's Open.
